Delivery of a multipurpose road-rail vehicle type SORF manufactured by Hilton Kommunal GmbH for the
user ZET – Zagrebački električni tramvaj d.o.o. for the purpose of carrying out periodic cleaning of the
grooves of 136 km of tram lines in the City of Zagreb from sand, leaves and other dirt. Operational cleaning
activities are carried out by moving on a built-in rail drive system with hydrostatic drive for driving on a
1000 mm gauge track. A clean water tank with a capacity of 2,000 liters and a waste water tank with a
capacity of 6.5 m3 enable high temporal autonomy of operations without frequent stops for emptying and
refilling the tank with water. The integrated water pump of 800 bar enables efficient contactless cleaning of
rail grooves with high pressure. The superstructure was built on a MAN TGM 18.340 4×2 BB (EURO 6)
chassis.
